Founded in 1966, the J Singers sing a varied mix of music ranging from traditional ballads, songs from West End shows, numbers by groups such as Abba and The Beatles, through to works by modern choral composers such as John Rutter and Paul Mealor.
The J Singers are always pleased to hear from adult singers of all ages who are interested in joining.
Rehearsal’s take place at Wembdon Parish Centre on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.  Regular attendance is expected and essential leading up to performances. There is a £3.00 weekly fee that includes a mid-session refreshment.  On being accepted as a member a one off deposit of £10.00 is levied; this is refunded on leaving the choir when sheet music and other items have been returned.
