Evening closures of Monmouth Street and Broadway from 9th February

Somerset County Council will be closing Monmouth Street and Broadway, from the Cross Rifles Roundabout to the junction with Salmon Parade, and St Johns Street from Monmouth Street to Polden Street. The closures be between 18:30 and 23:00 daily. They are expected to start on 9th February, and to last for 58 days! The closure is to enable traffic light refurbishment and resurfacing.

The online map shows the extent of the closure, and the official closure notice is also online. The diversion route is shown on the online map, but is difficult to unravel! It should be signposted.
